STEP TWO
The next step is to kill all the lice and nits with LiceKiller. STORY
I want to tell you our story about head lice. We have five children. One
day, our youngest daughter, age five, told me her head was itchy. I gave
her a bath and I washed her hair with a dandruff shampoo thinking it would
help. Afterwards, I was brushing out her tangles, looking closely for
flaky scalp when I gasped in shock!
There were little bugs crawling in her hair!
I was horrified!
Then I thought...
"Oh no! Jill's probably got it too!" (Our little
one shares a double bed with her older sister.) I checked... sure enough,
Jill had it too.
I ran to the store and bought some over-the-counter lice treatment and
those special combs. I treated their heads with the medicine and spent
almost six hours combing out the nits. After that, I changed
the bedding. We were all exhausted when we finally went to bed after
midnight. I thought, "That was horrible, but I'm glad it's over!"
Little did I know we were just getting started.
The next day, I checked all my children's heads. Fortunately, no one
else was infected. I washed anything in the house that could have touched
either of the girls' heads. All the bedding from all the beds in the
house. We threw away the pillows and bought all new ones. We treated
the couches. It was a nightmare, but it still wasn't over...
A few days later, according to the instructions on the box, I treated
and checked the girl's heads again. They were back! And my head
was feeling itchy. I had my husband check me. I had nits, too! Ever
since I was a little girl, I've always been very particular about my
hair, so I was extremely upset to think there were bugs crawling in
my hair. Plus, my girls and I all have hair down to our waists, so this
was not going to be an easy battle!
We went on for days, treating, combing, washing. Nothing was working!
They always seemed to come back! If we didn't get every last nit,
the lice would return. The medicines were all ineffective. I called
the doctor and he gave us a prescription. I thought, "Now we have
the heavy-duty stuff. This should work!" It didn't.
By this time, a month had gone by. The lice were taking over our lives.
I was so tired of picking out bugs and nits that I broke down and
sobbed. I couldn't handle it any more. I was almost ready to shave all
our heads!
To make a long story short, we never did find the answer and we ended up picking out the head lice and nits one by one with our fingernails! (You can see how tired I looked!)
Anyway, after we got done with the lice problem, my husband made it his personal mission to solve the head lice problem.

Our Nit Glue Dissolver:

For LiceKiller's Carrier Ingredients we use a half & half mix of Olive Oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil. We use Olive Oil because it helps to coat the lice and suffocate them. Other natural remedies stop there with just olive oil as the carrier, but we wanted to create a better product.
So, for HALF of our carrier we use Coconut Oil even though it is FIVE TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE than Olive Oil! We do this because Coconut Oil is the most penetrating oil known! It will help the active ingredients penetrate through the exoskeleton of the bugs so they can kill them dead!
In fact, Coconut Oil does such a great job of penetrating that our products come with a warning: "Do not use in combination with pesticide treatments." If you have poisons in your hair and you use coconut oil, the poisons can be even more dangerous to you! Don't worry, you can get the pesticides out of your hair washing with any shampoo. But since LiceKiller is so powerful and effective, we recommend that you make sure to wash ALL pesticides out of your (and your child's) hair before using LiceKiller.
As long as no poisons are present, Coconut Oil is WONDERFUL for your hair and skin! Coconut oil is one of the best things you can put on your body. Using LiceKiller cannot damage your hair or your skin--instead, it will actually IMPROVE the health of your hair and skin!

Eucalyptus oil is removed from the leaves by a process of steam distillation. The oil has strong antiseptic and germicidal disinfectant properties and can be used as both deodorizer and sanitizer. Peppermint is a perennial flowering plant that grows throughout Europe and North America. Catnip Oil

Q. Does LiceKiller™ REALLY work?
A. YES! Otherwise we wouldn't offer an empty bottle guarantee! Inferior products work some of the time...ours works all the time! So, why buy something else...when you can have LiceKiller™!
Q. Will LiceKiller™ really kill the nits?
A. Yes. LiceKiller™ kills the nits, but there could be some nits that survive. If there are nits that are newly laid that have not yet started using air, there is a chance some of them could survive. For that reason, we recommend removing all the nits. Also, most schools and day care centers will not allow children back until they are nit-free. Fortunately, the Olive Oil in LiceKiller™ makes them easier to remove.
Q. What is the life cycle of the head louse?
A. Head lice can survive on a human host for approximately 30 days. They generally cannot survive longer than 48 hours off the host. A female louse lays 3-5 eggs a day. The eggs hatch in 7-10 days and it takes another 7-10 days for the louse to mature and lay their own eggs.
Q. Can I mix LiceKiller™ with pesticide-based products?
A. NO! NO! A THOUSAND TIMES, NO! Our Fractionated Coconut Oil penetrates the skin extremely well. If you mix poisons with LiceKiller, you will increase the absorption of those toxic substances into your (or your child's) body. Before you use LiceKiller™, make SURE you have washed all previous pesticides out of the hair.
Q. How are head lice spread?
A. Head lice can be spread whenever there is direct contact of the head or hair with an infested individual. Lice can also be spread through the sharing of personal articles like hats, towels, brushes, helmets, hair ties, etc. There is also a possibility of spreading head lice via a pillow, headrest or similar items.
