Kill Lice in 10 Seconds, PART THREE
The TWO BIG PROBLEMS people have when they get head lice are:
The Lice and Eggs in Their Hair.
The Lice and Eggs in Their Environments.
During our experience with head lice the lice kept "coming back."
It was EXTREMELY frustrating!
We kept thinking we had gotten them all but a day or two later we would find more nits.
GRRRRRR!
More treating, combing and ENDLESS washing of clothes and bedding!
What we didn't know at first was that the chemical pesticide products we were using were NOT killing the eggs. (We found out later that's why their directions say to treat again in 10 days. But we were worried about all the poison we were putting on our kids heads!)
And it was almost impossible to find and remove every single nit.
What we also didn't know was that although lice can't jump or fly, they drop off your heads and they can crawl.
So it's possible that we were removing most of the lice but they were infesting the couches, beds, chairs and cars.
Then they were crawling back on our heads.
Another discovery we made was that nits can hatch up to 10 days after they are laid.
Also, with all the scratching and itching, plus humans lose about 100 hairs a day anyway, it's very easy for hairs with eggs on them to be in the environment (furniture, cars, beds, etc.)
The eggs on those fallen hairs can hatch and the lice can crawl onto the next human within reach.
Given these problems, I designed products to solve them.
For lice and eggs in the hair, we have the essential oil-based LiceKiller Oils and the enzyme-based Nit Glue Dissolver.
And as a bonus, I created a Lice Repellant that contains two of the best (and most expensive) natural bug repellants on the planet: catnip oil and erigeron oil.
For the environment, we came up with some powerful formulations of enzymes to spray your environment and use in the laundry.
We also knew we needed a really good lice comb. The ones we got at the store were horrible. Using our fingernails was NOT fun so I searched the internet for the world's best head lice comb and FOUND it.
I also found a "MagnaVisor" which is something jewelers wear to see the tiny things they work with to make rings and fix watches. It's fantastic for seeing head lice and nits. It even has lights!
It's the perfect accessory.

After making the products and coming up with some labels and choosing the bottles and accessories we wanted, we knew we had another problem...
Our products used expensive ingredients (that's the only drawback with wanting the BEST and SAFEST and BEST SMELLING product -- the ingredients are costly).
What good would it be to have the best head lice treatment if people didn't buy it?
Also, we were worried that people wouldn't know how much product to buy.
So we decided to create money-saving, pre-configured kits.
